Athanassios Vozikis is Professor of Health Economics and Information Systems at the Department of Economics of the University of Piraeus.

He is the Director of the Laboratory "Health Economics and Management" at
the University of Athens.

He is Member of the Committee of the Ministry of Health
for the Monitoring of Pharmaceutical Expenditure and Member of the Expert
Council for the Evaluation of Health Technologies (HTA) of the KESY.

He has also served as member of the National Council of Public Health and Chair of the Negotiation Committee of National Organization for the Healthcare Services Provision (EOPYY).

He is member of various scientific associations and organizations and member of the Editorial Board of several academic journals.

He has participated in several research projects, Committees and Advisory Boards related to Health Technology Assessment in Health Care.
