Emmanouil Choustoulakis
Emmanouil Choustoulakis is an Assistant Professor at the University of Peloponnese, Department of Sport Management, and serves also as Adjunct Academic Staff in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Hellenic Open University. He has previously held academic appointments as Adjunct Academic Staff in the Department of Economic Science at the University of Piraeus and has conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Peloponnese, focusing on the intersection of education economics and digital innovation. He holds a PhD in the Economics of Education and Digital Technologies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He also earned an MSc in Digital Educational Technologies and Digital Systems, as well as a Bachelor of Economics (BEcon), from the University of Piraeus.
Dr. Emmanouil Choustoulakis has authored or co-authored over 90 peer-reviewed publications, including journal articles, conference proceedings, and four academic books. He has contributed extensively to both national and international research projects, applying advanced econometric and statistical methodologies to address complex questions in education policy, digital transformation, and technological innovation. His involvement in these projects has cemented his expertise in contemporary research techniques, quantitative modeling, and interdisciplinary project management.
He actively participates in international scientific communities as a reviewer and committee member for academic journals and conferences. His current research interests lie at the intersection of Mathematics, Economics, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Technology Adoption and Diffusion, Digital Transformation, Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
A firm advocate of the transformative role of digital technologies in reshaping education, Dr. Emmanouil Choustoulakis has cultivated practical expertise in strategic information systems management, AI-driven systems and solutions, modern digital ecosystems, social media branding, and digital marketing.
